Radiant Features is very honored to have been selected to screen the world premiere of Aloha Buddha at the 2011 Hawaii International Film Festival. For over a decade, Producer Lorraine Minatoishi Palumbo has worked to raise awareness about the state of Japanese Buddhist temples in Hawaii. In 2008, Directors Bill Ferehawk and Dylan Robertson of Radiant Features teamed up with Lorraine to produce a film that would tell this story and bring it to the communities of Hawaii. The film’s premiere at HIFF is a realization of that vision.
The festival program is especially exciting because it highlights documentary and narrative films from the Pacific Rim. The Hawaii International Film Festival takes place in Honolulu between October 13-22. The film will premiere on Friday, October 21 at 6:15 PM. – Bill & Dylan
