As cities across America struggle to modify their planning codes in the wake of the Great Recession, a small faction of urban planners, called the Congress for New Urbanism, has steadily emerged into the mainstream. At the head of this movement is Andres Duany, New Urbanism’s iconoclastic founder and headmaster. Duany travels the world teaching and preaching his New Urbanist principles. He believes that his method of designing cities will radically change lives. This film follows Duany and his team over the course of eight days as they design the largest town ever proposed in the Cayman Islands.
